Driving through the Alps is probably one of the incredible mountain regions you will ever see (besides maybe the Himalayas, we'll see). The Croatian coast is also spectacular

We hiked to the top of the Park and there is a full panoramic view of Split and near by islands.

Split, Croatia (rental scooter)
We bought kids scooters, and my wheel blew out after the 1st day from jumping too many curbs. The second day we rented a gas scooter($10) and I drove it all over the place. After about an hour of driving it through the park and going off-roading through the trees I was pulled over by the police. We gave them our passports and we couldn't understand what they were saying so they got frustrated and just escorted us out. We then decided to sneak into the Zoo.

This vacation in split was extremely fun and relaxing.
